Find a company
Find a moving company for your move
Tell us both zip codes, the type of move and roughly how much is going. A person at HyreMover reads it, answers your question and, where we can, introduces you to moving companies serving your route. It is free, and no company gets your details until you agree.
- Free, and no obligation to book anyone
- No moving company gets your details until you agree
- We are not a mover or a broker, and we will not quote the move
Moving this week? Contact local companies directly. They are faster than we are. If a mover is refusing to unload your belongings, our warning signs page has the steps to follow now. To talk to us instead, call (866) 582-8523.
Tell us about the move
What happens after I submit?
A person reads it and replies. Company matching is still being built, so this is not an instant-quote marketplace. We answer your question and tell you when we can introduce moving companies on your route.
Where we can introduce companies serving your route, we ask you first. How HyreMover works sets out each step, and how we check moving companies explains what we check and what we cannot.
Questions before you submit
Does it cost anything to use this form?
No. The form is free and does not commit you to a moving company, a date or a valuation option. You decide whether to speak to anyone and whether to book.
Who will contact me after I submit?
HyreMover, first. Company matching is still being built, and we would rather say so than imply a network we do not have. Where we can introduce companies serving your route, we tell you first, and no moving company gets your details until you agree.
Will my details be sold?
No. Introducing you to a company you asked to meet is not selling a list, and we do not sell lists. The privacy policy explains what we store and how to have it deleted.
Do I have to give a phone number?
No. The phone field is optional and will stay optional. Agreeing to calls cannot be a condition of using the service, so the form sends without it.
A mover is holding my belongings right now. What do I do?
Do not wait on this form. On a non-binding interstate estimate, the mover must release your shipment when you pay 110 percent of the estimate; the rest is billed later. Call the company’s office, then FMCSA at (888) 368-7238, and file with the National Consumer Complaint Database. Our warning signs page has the full sequence.
Can you tell me what my move will cost?
No, not from here. We have not seen your belongings, your stairs or your street. We can help you work out which service you need and what a complete estimate should contain. The three estimate types is the most useful page to read before anyone quotes you.
Is HyreMover a moving company or a broker?
Neither. HyreMover is an independent information site building a way to connect people with moving companies. We do not move, pack, store or handle belongings, we do not arrange transport as a licensed broker does, and we do not guarantee any company’s work.
Not ready yet? Nothing here is gated.
