For moving companies
Moving partner FAQ

Who can become a HyreMover partner?
Registered moving businesses with the licensing their state requires, general liability cover, and workers’ compensation where they employ crews. Interstate movers also need a USDOT number with household goods authority. Many states do not license moves inside the state, and saying so is a complete answer. See how we vet moving companies.
What do you ask of partners on the job?
Two things we tell every homeowner to expect. A survey, in person or by video, before a whole-house number. And a written, itemized estimate with the estimate type named. We will not send homeowners to companies that skip them.
Is HyreMover a competitor?
No. HyreMover does not perform, supervise, warrant or finance moving work, and never will. We are not a carrier or a broker. We publish information and plan to make introductions.
Inquiries and matching
What types of moving inquiries are available?
The eight moving services: local, long-distance and interstate, packing and unpacking, storage, specialty items, labor only, office and commercial, and vehicle transport. You choose which of those you want.
Which locations do you serve?
The United States, but inquiry flow will be uneven. It follows where homeowners find our guides and tools. We will not tell you there is volume in your market before there is.
How are homeowner inquiries matched?
On the zip codes and the service the homeowner chose, against the areas and services you told us you cover. We do not widen your radius to create volume. See how moving leads work.
What information does an inquiry contain?
Origin and destination zip codes, service needed, timing, home size and the homeowner’s own description of the move where they gave one. Plus name and email, and a phone number where the homeowner chose to give one. Phone is optional on our form and will stay optional.
Can I choose my service areas?
Yes. You give us the zip codes, cities or counties you want work in, and the services you want inquiries for. You can change both.
Terms not decided yet
How much do inquiries cost?
Not decided yet. The pricing model and prices are not set. Registering now is free and is not a purchase.
Are inquiries exclusive?
Not decided yet. Whether an inquiry goes to one company or several is still being settled. We would rather say so than give you an answer that changes later.
How quickly are inquiries delivered?
Not decided yet. No delivery-time commitment has been set.
What happens if an inquiry is invalid?
Not decided yet. What counts as invalid, and how a credit or dispute is handled, is still being defined. Our lead quality standard sets out the tests every inquiry must pass.
Can I pause inquiry delivery?
Yes, in principle. A moving company fully booked in the summer peak should be able to stop the flow. The exact method depends on terms that are still being decided.
Working with HyreMover
How do I update my business information?
Contact us and we will update it. Registrations lapse and renew, service areas change and crews come and go, so we would rather hear from you than keep an old record. See contact HyreMover.
How does HyreMover handle homeowner data?
Homeowner details are passed on only with the homeowner’s consent, and only to respond to that inquiry. Partners may not resell them, add them to other marketing, or pass them on. See our privacy policy.
Does HyreMover guarantee an inquiry will become a customer?
No, and nobody honestly can. We do not guarantee inquiry volume, conversion rates or revenue. What happens after the introduction is your sales process and the homeowner’s decision.
Does HyreMover take a cut of the job?
No. We are not a party to your contract with the homeowner and take no percentage of the work. Whatever the pricing model turns out to be, it will be for the introduction, not for the move.

Registering is free and commits you to nothing. When terms are settled, the companies on the list hear first.
