For moving companies
How moving leads work
A homeowner reads a guide or runs a tool, describes the move and agrees to be contacted.
Once matching opens on your routes, the inquiry is matched to the areas and moving services you told us you cover, and sent to you. You call them, quote and contract directly.
HyreMover takes no part in that conversation and no cut of the job.
Where this stands. Matching is still being built, and no moving company is signed up yet. Pricing, exclusivity, delivery speed, invalid-inquiry credits and contract length are not settled. They are listed at the bottom of this page, not guessed at.
What will a moving company get?
- Homeowners who asked. Every inquiry comes from someone who agreed to be contacted. No bought lists.
- Your routes only. Matched to the zip codes, cities or counties you choose.
- Your services only. Matched to the moving services you offer, and none you decline.
- The customer. You quote and contract directly. We take no percentage of the move.
How does an inquiry reach you?
In seven steps, and nothing moves without the homeowner's consent.
- Research. A homeowner lands on a guide or a tool, usually with a deadline, not a company, in mind.
- Intent. They work out roughly what they are dealing with and decide they want to talk to someone.
- Inquiry. They fill in the moving inquiry form: both zip codes, service, timing, home size, description and contact details.
- Consent. They agree that HyreMover may pass their details to moving companies. Without that, nothing is sent anywhere.
- Matching. We check the inquiry against participating companies that cover that route and that service.
- Introduction. The inquiry goes to the eligible participating companies.
- Your conversation. You contact the homeowner, quote the move and contract directly with them.
When is an inquiry eligible?
When the homeowner has consented, the zip codes fall inside a service area you chose, and the service they asked for is one you offer. Our lead quality standard lists every test an inquiry must pass.
Homeowners who say they are only researching are handled differently from ones moving within two weeks. Sending a "just researching" inquiry to a crew expecting a job this week serves nobody.
Who picks the service area?
You do. You choose the zip codes, cities or counties you want work in, and we do not widen that radius to add volume. A moving company driving ninety minutes to a job it will turn down is a cost to you and a broken promise to the homeowner.
Which moving jobs are matched?
Inquiries are matched on the service the homeowner chose: local moving, long-distance and interstate, packing, storage, specialty items, labor only, office and commercial, or vehicle transport. If you do not do interstate work, storage or specialty items, tell us and you will not receive them.
What does an inquiry contain?
- The route. Origin and destination zip codes, and the size of the home.
- The move. The service needed and the timing the homeowner chose, from within two weeks to just researching.
- In their words. The homeowner's own description of the move and access at each end, where they gave one.
- How to reach them. Name and email, and a phone number where the homeowner chose to give one.
Phone numbers are optional on our form and will stay optional. Agreeing to calls cannot lawfully be a condition of using a service, and a number given under pressure is a number that does not answer.
What are your obligations with homeowner data?
Homeowner details reach you only so you can respond to that inquiry. You may not resell them, add them to other marketing lists, or pass them on. If a homeowner asks you to stop contacting them, stop. Our privacy policy describes what we collect and why.
What is not decided yet?
We will not publish business terms we have not committed to. Open today:
- Pricing. The pricing model and the prices.
- Exclusivity. Whether inquiries are exclusive or shared.
- Delivery speed. Any commitment on how fast inquiries arrive.
- Credits and disputes. What earns a credit for an invalid inquiry, and how disputes are raised.
- Duplicates. How duplicate inquiries are handled.
- Refunds. The refund policy.
- Commitment. Any minimum commitment, and how to cancel.
Registering now costs nothing and commits you to nothing. When these are settled, participating companies hear before the page changes. The moving partner FAQ answers the rest.
What do moving companies ask about leads?
How does a moving inquiry reach my company?
A homeowner reads a guide or runs a tool, describes the move and agrees to be contacted.
Once matching opens on your routes, the inquiry is matched to the areas and services you cover and sent to you. You call, quote and contract directly.
We take no part in that and no cut of the job.
What information comes with a lead?
Both zip codes, the type of move, the timing, the size of the home, the homeowner’s own words about access at each end, and their contact details with consent recorded. Our lead quality standard sets out what makes an inquiry complete and what is rejected first.
Are inquiries exclusive to one company?
Not decided yet, and we will not publish a term that changes in three months. Exclusivity sits with pricing, delivery speed, invalid-inquiry credits and contract length on the list of terms still open. Registering now records your service area and commits you to nothing.
Do I have to take every inquiry?
No. You tell us the routes and services you want, and the ones you would rather not receive. Interstate work, storage and specialty items are all jobs some companies decline. Sending a job to a company that does not want it wastes everyone’s time.
When does matching actually go live?
Not decided yet, and it is the question we are asked most. Matching with moving companies is still being built. We would rather say that plainly than suggest a network we do not have, the same standard we hold on the homeowner side.
